A day at the Park

So, Mom and I wanted to do something fun with the kids on Saturday. Avamor community was having a heritage festival and we thought it would be fun. They were supposed to have fun stuff for the kids, booths, and free food. After getting lost, (we were only driving to Horseshoe Bend, how could we get lost?) we found the place. We also found the long line for the kid games and the food. Needless to say, we decided to leave after barely walking around. We went to Jack-in-the-Box (they have grilled chicken strips, no breading!) and headed to the park. The girls, Quinn, and Jenna had just as much fun there. (Sorry, Jenna, I didn't get any pictures of you!) The girls were digging sand out of their shoes more than playing, it seemed.

I guess that you can totally say that I am a mom of a little girl that loves Sesame Street because when I saw your post title it made me think of the Elmo song called "Riding in the Park".

Looks like a beautfil and fun filled day.
