Summer Swimming

I haven't spent as much time at Grandma's pool this summer as I would like, but today I went. Mom was there with the kids and Natalie had her kids there too. I was baby-sitting my friend's little girl, Addison and we had lots of fun. I can't believe how brave Daniel was, jumping off the diving board and going down the slide! I, of course, enjoyed just being in the sun!

Moon Family Reunion

Since neither Chris or my families really have family reunions, we go with Jamie and Micky to theirs. The Moon family reunion is at Silver Creek Plunge every year. Chris and I went with them last year and again this year. I took Mom, Zach, Jenna, and Quinn this year. It was so much fun to let Jenna and Quinn play with all the kids. I think Mom and Zach enjoyed themselves too! Chris and Zach especially had fun fishing, check out the picture. They actually got about 20 in all over the two days. Anyways, thanks Jamie and Micky for letting us tag along!

My favorite part!

My favorite part of the week was spending time with family, especially the little spit fire, Lily. Chris and I had her come stay with us 3 times while Andi was here. She loved Chris. She wouldn't say my name, but would run around the house asking where Chris was. As much fun as it was, it made me even more baby hungry. I know, my time will come, but for now I will just continue to love everyone else's babies!

Fireworks!

I think Melba out-did themselves this year. We were fortunate enough to be able to watch the fireworks up close. Braden's friends was kind enough to let us watch them from his yard. (Thanks Jesse!) The fireworks are the best that I have ever seen. We kept thinking that the show was over. I think they had about 3 finales! The kids kept saying "wow" and oohing and aahing! Lily was quite comfy on Andi's stomach. No one could keep their eyes off the show.

4th of July

The parade in Melba was great again this year. Check out the floats, definitely small hometown charm. Of course there were lots of horses and lots of family floats. There was lots of candy and the kids had tons of fun. Mom's family usually comes for the parade too. It was so much fun!

Family Fun

So, I must admit that the whole feast or famine when it comes to blogging pertains to me too. So, now to the feast! Every year my dad's family comes home for the 4th of July. This year was no different. Most days are spent around the pool, but one night is usually dedicated to riding horses. The "city" kids love to come spend time in the country with Jeff's horses. We also roasted marshmallows and ate smores after. Sorry, didn't get any pictures of the smores, only the firepit.
